The Wrestling Appearance

Luminous (\ô/) Luciano makes his long-awaited debut in that universe - after the passings of Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper and Ric Flair... He felt it to be his duty to fill that void, now. And all by himself he goes into the Lions' Den - no Horsemen, no back-up - nothing.

He walks out to (either the ring or) the podium, straight up to a microphone and lectern set up there just for the occasion - to the air of ''Dream Weaver'' as he always wanted. The music carries on for a long time, longer than initially planned: for the idea was to use just the intro for this, but Luciano keeps posturing as the tune carries on into the sung portion of this classic Gary Wright song. Eventually, it becomes clear to one and all that this was what was truly planned: as the song is clearly an edited shortened version of the original, ending far sooner with a loop that repeats, over and over, the final notes of it. And that is Luminous (\ô/) Luciano's cue to begin to speak...

Luminous (\ô/) Luciano begins in this manner: ''thank you, thank you. It is my immense privilege and honor to come out here tonight and speak before a crowd of rabid rasslin' fans such as yourselves - in the hallowed halls that have seen so many legends of this form of art hone and manifest their skills. I want to thank the wrestling organization that has made this possible - and all of its wrestling stars who kindly gave me some of their ringtime here... The list is long to name all of these generous souls; verily, it would be far easier to name those who were opposed to my presence here tonight. But I shall not waste my breath mentioning these small minds trapped in grotesque forms that bark, snarl and growl endlessly... For simply ignoring them is the best course of action indeed!''

These grotesque ones' music suddenly resonates within the halls - and they appear, out of nowhere; circling Luminous (\ô/) Luciano in less time than it takes to describe it! They are the FCW's Dirty Dogs, a tag-team in the mold of the old Nasty Boys, Bushwhackers or Sheepherders...! Commentators and blow-by-blow guys exclaim ''what are they doing here'' on the spot! And their manager, Paxton, came along with them, too...  He is the first one to threaten Luminous (\ô/) Luciano, addressing him virulently while brandishing his cane menacingly at Luminous (\ô/) Luciano's head in the process, as one of his cronies -the bigger one- thrashes both microphone and lectern away...

''You're referring to us there, aren't you, you pencil-necked geek? You dare to call us, masters of this craft, natural-born superstars and multi-time champions, small minds in grotesque forms...?!? You dare come in here, on our turf, against our will, and say that...?!? You got some nerve doing that!''

Smiling at that last bit, Luminous (\ô/) Luciano is about to retort but is cut off short when the slimmer Dog hits him from behind with a forearm smash; his legs ply after the impact, giving the bigger Dog in front of him the opportunity to add his own two cents in the same manner, too.  Paxton screams his approval like a maniac, as this continues for long, painful seconds. With both roustabouts pummeling him in this manner, Luminous (\ô/) Luciano finds himself on all fours within seconds - which is when he begins fighting back immediately!

Luminous (\ô/) Luciano begins by taking out the bigger Dog, with a shot between the legs in the manner of a certain self-proclaimed dirtiest player in the game... He then turns toward the stunned slimmer Dog and hits him in the mid-section, before raking his eyes and dispatching him in total disarray, over the top rope - just as a certain Hot Rod would have done. Finally, he turns to face the visceral manager who is trying to stop the hemorrhage by hitting him with the cane; but Luminous (\ô/) Luciano blocks it, grabbing the cane and taking it away from Paxton. Luminous (\ô/) Luciano then hits him with a bionic elbow, just as the first embodiment of the American Dream would have done, back in the day... And thus, Luminous (\ô/) Luciano has dispatched all of his assailants in three swift moves. He then picks up the microphone and says this: ''I dare... yes... I dare because I care! I care about this industry... about this business... about this artform! Call me crazy, call me nuts - but I do! I cannot stop caring, no matter what! And so... I cannot condone what certain petty little creatures such as you guys have been doing to it, out here!''

Luminous (\ô/) Luciano's theme plays again, as he flashes his ''lucky three'' sign - while security takes the three goons away from sight. He picks up the lectern and his speech - and delivers it, at last, uninterrupted: ''it is with great pleasure that I announce to you the release of the ultimate wrestling fan book; my book, titled 'Wrestling Out Of The Womb' - the kayfabe ''momvoirel'' of a wrestling fan, that being... me! What is a ''momvoirel'' you ask, wrestling fans? Well, I'll tell since you so kindly asked... I mean, you ask in a much kinder way than those three dogs... might one say?  So... A ''momvoirel'' is the amalgamation of the memoir with the novel - yes! My original thing - I do believe! And so, this book... ''WOOTW'' for short... shall be available right now, on LULU...''

At that time, the music starts again and two valets come out with a print out of the cover, big enough for everyone to make out its details. Luminous (\ô/) Luciano poses with them for a while, flashing his trademark ''lucky three'' sign once again...!  End of skit/promo/shoot...!  :)
